QLD: Consultations welcomed
Media statement Friday 25 August (attributable to Jeremy Irvine, CEO)
Parking Australia notes the article in today’s Courier Mail.
Parking Australia welcomed the opening of consultations on options to reform the release of personal information for enforcement of private car park conditions.
We recognise this is an important matter for our members, their customers, and the community more broadly.
Parking Australia intends to be a major contributor to the review process.
We have encouraged all interested members to provide a submission to the review by close of business Friday 25 August.
We have been consulting with our members and relevant stakeholders and will provide a considered position to the review.
We will continue to work with the government on this matter.
