Briefing on Standards Australia AS/NZS 2890.1

Thank you to the many members who joined Parking Australia for our member-only briefing on the potential new changes to AS/NZS 2890.1 off-street car parking on Wednesday 18 October.

The standard is open for public comment and closes on 9 November.

The session was led by Parking Australia’s representative on the relevant Standards Australia committee, Andrew Morse of ptc. Andrew briefed members on the discussions by the committee, and key proposed changes to the standard (last revised in 2004) including length of standard car park, and new sections on car stackers and lifts, and vehicle control points.
