We're sometimes asked how members can best maximise their involvement with Parking Australia. A great way to meet, network and get a feel for the industry is to simply come along to our events. They're practical, fun, and we always welcome new attendees warmly.
Here are some tips - and actions to get the most from our membership.
Why: Parking Australia runs regular events around the counttry. Attendance is free for member and unlimited for all that member's staff unless noted otherwise.
How to get involved: Look up upcoming events in the Events Calendar. Register early and invite colleague - encouraging team attendance increases visibility and connections.
Why: Past webinars have been recorded and made available in the member resources section, covering current issues and case studies in the sector. As a speaker, it's a cost effective way to get your brand recognised or an update highlighted - and the videos can be accessed by members later.
How to get involved: Block a regular time in your calendar to join our webinars. After the live session, students can review the recording from the Resource Library. Members can also submit topics they'd like to see covered.
Why: As a nominee - showcase your organisation's commitment to excellence by nominating. As a sponsor - get out in front of the annual premier parking industry gala event and promote your brand. As a guest - come along and share with peers from around the country on the industry's night of nights.
How to get involved: Nominate for the annual awards. Nominations are opened well in advance, we provide feedback on previous submissions and are always happy to answer questions. Sponsorships are also available on a first in, best dressed approach. Delegates can book tickets.
Why: Members have access to an extensive knowledge bank, with presentations, audio recordings, case studies, governance materials, and Board and CEO briefings - exclusive to members.
How to get involved: Log into the Member Area → “Member Resources.” Schedule time to review key materials. Share helpful files with your team or discuss insights in internal meetings.
Why: Silver, Gold and Platinum members can feature event listings, job postings, member news, and editorials in the Parking Insider newsletter and on the website. Higher tiers get more prominent coverage and priority at events - check out all the membersip tiers and contact us if you'd like to action them.
How to get involved: Submit your organisation’s updates (events, vacancies, news) using the forms in the Member Area. Got news or an event coming up - let us know!
Why: Members have voting rights at the AGM (one per organisation) and staff can nominate for Board positions ahead of elections, which are announced from September each year.
How to get involved: Check for AGM notices in the member portal. Review Board candidate information and nominate yourself.
