We’ve launched a new website and membership. Here’s a quick guide:
Top tip
- Check your spam or junk folder so you don't miss emails from us.
- Emails that come from ceo@parking.asn.au or paa@parking.asn.au are from us - so too when the emails have at the end 'via mail-service-membes.com' (these are from the new membership platform, Membes).
Why the change?
- We’ve combined our website and membership system into one platform (Membes) - an Australian based and owned association management platform.
What’s new?
- A cleaner, easier-to-use website
- Member resources in one place
- Integrated events, news, advocacy updates, and more
What's the same?
- All member organisations still enjoy unlimited staff access to member benefits
- Unless otherwise noted (e.g. Awards Gala Dinner), access to Parking Australia events and webinars are free for all staff of all Parking Australia members
I'm a member who used to be able to log into the old plaform. What do I need to do?
After 28 April 2025, when logging in for the first time all members should:
- Visit the website
- Click here to change your password
- Log in and check and update your details (click on Member Area, then Manage my Profile)
- (If you click on Manage my Profile and you're not logged in, it will give you an error message. We suggest resetting your password first, and then if still having challenges, pop us a line via the form on our Contact Us page or give us a call on 1300 787 233
I've tried to reset my password but it's not working
- Check your spam or junk folder and then talk with your IT team to see if an email has been blocked
- If that still does not work, screen shot what you've done and pop us a line via the Contact Us page.
- Let us know what information and resources you need; we'll provide what you need to you firstly, and then nut through the password challenges.
Where can I find member resources?

The new Member Area has, for example:
- CEO and Board Briefings (including for members only in each Parking Insider e-news bulletin)
- Presentations and case studies
- AGM and governance information
- Jobs board and form to list a job
To access this area, as was the case in the previous platform, you must have a Parking Australlia membership account.
I want to register my team or I am a staff member registering for a free event and the system wants to charge me. What do I need to do?
- For ticketed events where it's free to attend as a member, our system recognises people that a member firm have asked be held against their account.
- Your staff member may have been at a previous event - this does not necessarily mean they've been linked to their firm's membership account (see Q&A on that below).
- If you want your staff member to attend and access the Member Area, they can seek to be added to your membership account here; or you can contact us advising of their details and we'll add them and register them directly. Send their name, email and phone details, position, state they're located and email preferences (e.g. whether they want to receive e-news bulletins) and we will sort for you.
- You can also advise us to register a staff member for an event, but not provide access to the Member Area - it's up to each firm (see below).
- Staff listed against each member to access the Member Area can be viewed by Bundle Coordinators (see below).
I’m a Bundle Coordinator / account administrator — what do I need to know?
You can:
- View staff associated with your organisation's membership.
- Edit (but not delete) details of staff associated with your organisation's membership.
To make updates:
Based on member feedback, staff in a member organisation can also now request access to the Member Area directly. We’ll verify their email against your organisation's records before granting access. If you’d prefer access to be limited to only those you’ve approved, just let us know.
What about the Supplier Directory?
- We're using the transition from the old platform to Membes to allow Bundle Coordinators to check what (if anything) you'd like on the Supplier Directory which is currently set for visbility to other Parking Australia members only. Feel free to log in and you can amend as your information wish after you've check out what your firm has on the Supplier Directory. If you don't want any information on the Directory at all (to anyone), that's fine - simply let us know.
- New members - please let us know what you'd like to do and we will turn your listing on if you wish.
And the AGM? What's a Voting Contact on my listing (when logged in as a Bundle Coordinator or sole trader)
- Each member organisation has its own internal processes for determining which person votes; our new procedure allows your organisation to sense-check well in advance of the AGM who you want to have vote in Parking Australia Board elections (if needed) annually. We're simply using the new system to enhance the processes we follow already. Annual renewals will include a request to update this information; we'll contact you in advance of the AGM (late November) if we need to clarify your information prior.
- As we currently do, we'll continue to advise members of when voting opens and provide an overview of candidates at each election via the AGM page on the Member Area of the site so colleagues can view and discuss the candidates, before the person in each organisation votes.
- Some members have previously advised who their Voting Contact is - we are adding these progressively.
- Questions about the AGM and/or voting? Pop our CEO a line and he'll be happy to have a chat.
What if I don’t get Parking Insider or emails from you when I think I should be?
- Check your spam folder for emails from ceo@parking.asn.au or paa@parking.asn.au. You can also update your details by logging in as per the above.
- If you don't receive Parking Insider but would like to, pop us a line and we'll check and can add you.
- If you think you should have received an email from us but haven't, please also let us know.
When do you send renewals? What's the timeline?
- Members' renewals are on a rolling anniversary with 6-8 weeks' notice sent with an invoice and a renewal form, and a reminder 14 days and on the day of renewal.
- We also send a reminder 30 days after the renewal is due, and then will be in contact in person prior to 60 days from when the renewal is due.
- According to the Parking Australia Constitution, members who have not renewed their membership after this time are suspended.
- The process explanined above is the same timeline and process we have used in the past.
How can I learn more about how to get maximum value from my membership?
