Parking Australia is excited to announce the launch of our University Subcommittee in direct response to membership feedback and following the successful debut of our Women in Parking subcommittee in February.

This new body is designed to unite higher education institutions and bridge the gap between universities and the wider parking industry. We will be launching the university subcommittee at our May Networking event, hosted by University of Queensland (UQ).

Date: Wednesday 27th May 2026

Location: University of Queensland, Brisbane

Time: 1pm - 6pm (networking drinks to follow)

This event brings together parking, property, and education sector professionals for an afternoon of high-level connection:

  •  1:00pm | Exclusive Site Tour: A showcase of UQ’s latest parking technology and operational setup in a live environment. More details about the tour will be provided closer to the date once the logistics on registrations are complete.

  •  3:30pm | Industry Panel Discussion: Leaders will explore the future of campus parking, focusing on technology, customer experience, and the evolving role of parking within major institutions.

  •  5:00pm | Networking & Official Launch: An opportunity to connect with key stakeholders and celebrate the formal inauguration of the University Subcommittee.
