Despite the critical importance that accurate data can play in determining the success or failure of a marketing campaign, a recent report from Dun & Bradstreet Netprospex shows that companies continue to struggle with the effective management of their data and lack a consistent data management strategy.
The third annual B2B data benchmark report reveals shocking results about the health of marketing databases across companies of various sizes and industries. It provides a detailed snapshot in regard to data hygiene, accuracy, and completeness.
For example the study found that 66% of files have “questionable email deliverability” at best and 54% of records analysed did not include a phone number. These days data is captured from a wide range of channels which can complicate the process of maintaining data and lead to the potential for duplication of data.
