Briefing from the CEO
Wherever this finds you, I trust you are well. Our latest extensive member-only briefing (log in via the link at the end of this note) provides details on updates on the proposed changes to the Victorian Congestion Levy Act and our ongoing efforts in response; Parking Guidelines consultations in New South Wales and an associated member briefing on 8 April; and updates on our engagement in Queensland, and Western Australia – and more.
Speaking of WA, thanks to the nearly 50 colleagues who joined us for our first in-person networking event of the year in Perth in late February. It was a great afternoon of sharing, networking and learning, with the 2024’s Parking Organisation of the Year, the City of Perth’s case study being exceptionally well presented by Michael Gunson. The recording of the discussion is at https://www.parking.asn.au/presentations/ (log in required). Our appreciation to Brookfield Properties and Hawaiian for their support and hosting us.
Our thanks to all involved, and a shout to the many members I visited while in Perth.
NEW: Monthly webinar series
Parking Australia invites suppliers to showcase your latest news, products, and innovations in our new monthly online webinar series, commencing from May. This is your opportunity to connect directly with the wider parking sector in a cost-effective and time-efficient way.
These new webinars are based on member feedback and complement our existing schedule of in-person events including quarterly networking, Parking Australia at Highways AU, and the 2025 Parking Industry Awards. Attendance for webinar viewers is free of charge.
Full details and how to be involved are here.
