12 November 2019
Atura Adelaide Airport Hotel 3pm – 6pm
The announcement of a $551 million Adelaide City Deal marks the start of a decade-long collaborative effort between three levels of government and the promise of a bright future for Adelaide’s innovation economy.
The Federal Coalition, the South Australian government and the City of Adelaide have agreed to transform Lot Fourteen in the north-eastern corner of Adelaide’s CBD into an innovation precinct. Lot Fourteen will host the headquarters of the Australian Space Agency, its mission control facility and the Australian Space Discovery Centre, as well as major cultural attractions, high tech businesses and world-class education facilities.
The major infrastructure projects planned for Lot Fourteen will help take the city to the next level in terms of its potential to achieve major economic growth over the longer term.
Parking Australia has invited three speakers to provide an outline of the Adelaide City Deal, including its latest progress, the key stakeholders, and what the plans are going forward.
This event will be followed by industry networking with drinks and canapés.
