Parking Australia’s inaugural Good Will Club luncheon took place in Melbourne at the end of November and featured special guest speaker, business futurist, Morris Miselowski. Over 50 supporters raised $2000 on the day with donations from TMA, CDS, Parking and Traffic Consultants, Hi Tech and Care Park, in addition to in-kind supporters of the event, Accor and JEM. Donated funds will go to mental health charity – R U OK?
R U OK? is a not-for-profit organisation whose vision is a world where we?re all connected and are protected from suicide. By inspiring people to take the time to ask “are you ok?” and listen, R U OK? aims to help people struggling with life forge meaningful connections long before they even think about suicide.
Special thanks go to speaker, Morris Miselowski, who presented a brilliantly engaging presentation on what the industry will look like in the future, including?how many cars and the type of cars we will have in Australia, as well as what will be occupying those parking spaces. Mr Miselowski also presented on what consumers and employees will want from members in the next 5-10 years, where opportunities will come from, and how to take advantage of them.
If you would like to make a donation to the Good Will Club, donations can still be accepted via the Parking Australia website.
