Personal Statement:
Angelique has been an active participant of Parking Australia since 2012, from discussions with the executive to promoting the Association and its growth through her networks.
Angelique founded her parking business, thatsmyspot.com.au in 2009, in response to personal pain points she experienced when parking in residential and commercial strata buildings. Over the past 12 years, she has been reputably providing automated parking bollard products to individuals, B2B businesses, government, including Parking Association members.
Angelique consistently exchanges feedback and content with the parking community, proposing collaborative projects among members. She is a thought leader on parking automation and data aggregation to integrate the parking industry into part of an integrated holistic transport mobility platform. Angelique is an invited speaker for PACE 2022 on two hot topics in parking – disability and the importance of data.
Angelique has over 30 years business and industry experience, having practised as a highly respected finance lawyer both in Australia and internationally, and as Sydney Managing Partner of US law firm Pillsbury Law (2000-2005).
Angelique has personally developed and built residential and commercial property developments, including installing a car stacker in 2008! Her deep domestic and international networks, including in the proptech sector, are a testament to her commitment to her industry and business.
Angelique also believes in service to the community. She serves as a voluntary advisory board member of rCITI, the UNSW Research Centre for Integrated Transport Innovation, where she works with academics on the cutting edge of innovative transport solutions, including smart cities. Angelique also extensively fosters the growth of STEM and women in entrepreneurship through active mentoring.
