Accredited Operator Scheme
Parking operators achieve accreditation status under AOS
Five operators (Secure Parking, Care Park, Ace Parking, Wilson Parking and PriPark) have achieved accredited status against the Accredited Operator's Code of Practice.
About the Accredited Operator Scheme
The AOS is designed specifically for those PA members that are involved in parking enforcement services on private land.
The Code of Practice for Enforcement on Private Land
To qualify for Accredited Operator status an operator must undergo a rigorous examination of all forms of documentation, processes and signage. Download the Code of Practice for Enforcement on Private Land here.
Becoming an AOS member
If you would like to be an Accredited Operator you will first need to join Parking Australia. Once your membership of Parking Australia is completed the next stage is an application to become an Accredited Operator.
Compliance Monitoring and Feedback
Parking Australia via the AOS operates a sanction system in order to encourage compliance of the Code. This includes a complaints procedure which allows people who feel that an operator is not complying with the code to refer matters to us.
Why Look for the AOS Symbol?
The Accredited Operator logo is awarded to parking operators based on a rigorous audit of some 80 criteria relating to parking operations, signage and compliance monitoring.
Promoting your accreditation
To help you get started promoting your accreditation, Parking Australia offers a brief guide which provides resources and information to help you explain and promote your accreditation.
AOS Brand Guidelines
Members of the Accredited Operator Scheme (AOS) are permitted to display this status on all of their communications materials and in their online presence. This guide explains how to use the logo. Please ensure that you follow the rules to help maintain the AOS brand.
